Carolyn Whiskin is the Pharmacy Manager for Charlton Health and is a consultant pharmacist at Brant Arts Dispensary. She writes, presents, and evaluates continuing education programs for many health professionals and speaks at both national conferences and local educational programs for the public. She’s served on the Models of Care committee for the Ontario Rheumatology Association and has written vaccination protocols for compromised adults which have been used across Canada. Carolyn is the pharmacist expert for the province on Ontario’s ECHO Rheumatology program. She is the lead pharmacology instructor for the Advanced Clinical Practitioner in Arthritis Program (ACPAC) at UofT.
In addition to her work in autoimmune disease, Carolyn has expertise in women’s health, pain and smoking cessation. She is a certified menopause practitioner with the Menopause Society. Carolyn has won provincial and national awards for her commitment to patient care and public service.
