Health Canada recently approved two vaccines indicated for the prevention of lower respiratory tract disease due to respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), with additional vaccine candidates in the pipeline. This session will review 10 things that pharmacists need to know in order to identify patients with indications for vaccination, distinguish between the available products, provide education on the safety and effectiveness of the vaccines,  and address questions related to the duration of protection, use in those who are immunocompromised, co-administration with other vaccines, and the current status of vaccine coverage.
