Don Swainson is a pharmacy co-owner, and president of Alliance Local Rx – a specialty services organization founded in 2023 that provides support to community pharmacies who wish to compete for specialty patients by offering services such as IV infusions, reimbursement support and PSP enrollment, vaccinations and lab monitoring. Don co-founded and acts in an operations leadership role for Vital Health Pharmacy which operates 3 community-based specialty pharmacies in B.C. Prior to working in these roles, Don worked for NKS Health as a pharmacy network director. Don’s background includes senior leadership roles with Cameron Stewart Lifescience, Novartis, Pfizer and Lilly.
