• In this session, we will explore how pharmacists can practically incorporate travel health into everyday pharmacy practice, with a focus on important travel vaccines to protect against LT-ETEC/cholera, Japanese encephalitis, and chikungunya. Participants will learn how to identify travellers who may benefit from these vaccines, provide clear and confident counseling, and integrate these recommendations into existing consultation workflows.
• Beyond the clinical considerations, the session will focus on the operational and patient care aspects of travel health. We will discuss strategies for structuring travel consultations, collaborating with prescribers where required, bundling preventive products, and positioning travel services in a way that supports both patient outcomes and pharmacy growth.
• Attendees will leave with practical frameworks, counseling strategies, and practice insights they can immediately apply to establish and sustain travel health services within their pharmacy.
