Glucose sensing technology has been shown to improve an individual’s glucose metrics including A1C, Time in Range, and Glycemic variability, in addition to supporting person-reported outcomes, i.e. quality of life. However, despite access to this technology since 2019, more than half of people living with diabetes continue to have an A1C above target. While sensor-based glucose monitoring is a powerful tool to support people with diabetes in improving their glycemic metrics, the PROBLEM is that it is both under-utilized; and/or under-actioned-upon in people with access to this technology.
Join this interactive workshop to BE PART OF THE SOLUTION. Note that participants in this workshop are highly encouraged (not mandatory) to apply a glucose sensor during the 10:10am-11:50am Vendor Hall Networking session. In order to enhance your direct patient care, please consider applying the sensor that you dispense most of, i.e. either a Libre2 or Dexcom G7. It is expected that you will have downloaded the applicable app (Libre2 or Dexcom G7) on your phone and will be wearing appropriate clothing (short sleeves recommended) such that you can apply the sensor in the exhibit hall, a minimum of 60 minutes prior to the 2:45pm workshop.
