Description

Ontario pharmacists have provided influenza vaccinations for over a decade as part of the universal program. During the 2017/2018 UIIP season, close to 1.2 million doses of influenza vaccines were administered by 2,902 Ontario pharmacies.  But with staffing shortages, dwindling margins, and among the lowest fees for influenza vaccine administration in the province, is there a need to rethink this business model?  Attend this session and gain valuable perspective on how to pivot your seasonal vaccination model to unlock hidden revenue opportunities, improve patient outcomes, and advance the pharmacy profession in Ontario.
